Environmental Action Weekend in Whaingaroa! TTPA & Maui Dolphin Day

Even if its raining - Raglan will rally for this National Event

MAUI DOLPHIN DAY Sun 11am to 3pm

Shaping up to be an awesome event; bring the family and friends to come and celebrate our beautiful but critcally endangered Maui Dolphin. Heaps of great fun activities including the Raft Race, Maui Obstacle course, performances from Raglan youth, Prizes!

With all day entertainment, our community will have the opportunity to send a video-taped 'Message to the Minister' and participate in a celebratory Maui Dolphin dance.  

Come have your say - and celebrate this taonga.

Now is a great time to start planting.  Come into WEC for seeds to get your garden ready!  

What to plant:

Vegetable Seedlings to plant now:

Broccoli, lettuce, spring onions, leeks, peas, seed potatoes, beetroot, carrots, kumera, tomatoes, bok choy

Seeds to sow in trays inside:

Tomato, capsicum, chille, lettuce, cauliflower, cabbage, broccoli, kale, brussel sprouts, pumpkin & squash, spinich & silverbeet.
