About 70 people gathered in the Raglan Town Hall Supper Room last Wednesday evening for the first meeting in a review of the Maui Dolphin Threat Management Plan with DOC and Ministry for Primary Industries. Three camera crews were there as well. We were very pleased to see such a large turnout. It really shows that this community cares.
DOC’s Marine Species Team put out their answer to the community’s calls to action: We DO want to save the Maui’s. We need your help to do it. Stand behind us. Make a submission.
KASM will be holding an info session...
Please watch this space for more info.
Drop into WEC at the Town Hall if you have any questions about submissions. Our computer is available for your use to research and submit online.

The time has come for WEC to join the 21st century and get a mobile phone! This will be used mainly for texting.
Do you have an old mobile phone that you could donate to WEC? It would be great if it was in working order, and had a charger (although we can probalby find a charger up at Xtreme).
Thanks for your help,
Anna & Bexie
